Two women. Two kinds of expertise. One shared mission.

Turyya was founded by Disha — a senior analytics professional with over 13 years of experience advising Fortune 500 companies across retail, technology, and pharmaceuticals. Her work has always been the same: read data carefully, identify what's missing, and tell the truth about it.

Her co-founder is her mother — an obstetrician and gynaecologist with over 30 years of practice and thousands of families guided through the journey of new life. Together, they bring a perspective that is rare in the baby products space: the rigour of data and the depth of lived clinical wisdom, held inside the experience of being a mother yourself.

Turyya began in the in-between moments of maternity leave — long conversations between a new mother and the doctor who had spent a lifetime supporting families like hers. What emerged from those conversations was both a diagnosis and a direction: the Indian market was full of products, but empty of the right ones.

Turyya was born during one of those quiet 4 a.m. feeds. That particular kind of silence — where the world disappears and it's just you and your baby — carries a clarity unlike anything else.

As a new mother surrounded by cluttered nurseries, overly loud prints, and products that looked temporary rather than thoughtful, Disha found herself wanting something different. Things that were truly useful. Products that simplified parenting instead of adding to the chaos. Things beautiful enough to belong in a modern home, practical enough for every day, and designed to evolve as a baby grows.

Disha built Turyya the same way she builds everything: by asking hard questions of the data, listening carefully, and refusing to accept "good enough" as an answer.
